1. Operator and scope
BuildCurrent is contractor operations software offered at soucy.company and operated by Christian Soucy carrying on business as Soucy Roofing in New Brunswick, Canada. These Terms apply to soucy.company, BuildCurrent company workspaces, subscription signup, customer portals, secure document shares, payment experiences, support and related services.
By creating, subscribing to or using a BuildCurrent workspace, you agree to these Terms. If you act for a company, you confirm that you have authority to bind that company.
2. Accounts and workspace responsibility
The subscribing or registered company is responsible for its authorized users, accurate account information, credential security, role assignments and promptly removing access that is no longer appropriate. The initial registrant is normally provisioned as the workspace Owner.
BuildCurrent may require authentication, billing or security verification where reasonably necessary to protect the service or an account.
For support, BuildCurrent may use company, membership, subscription, service, support-history and account-security information reasonably necessary to locate the affected workspace and diagnose a request. Information already stored in an account, such as a name, email address, phone number, company name or role, may be used to locate the account but is not by itself proof that a person is authorized to receive sensitive information or request account changes. BuildCurrent may require verification through a trusted signed-in or one-time account channel before providing sensitive assistance.
3. Plans, pricing, engine bundles and usage
BuildCurrent currently offers four branded plans. CurrentStart™ is a permanent free plan. CurrentFlow™, CurrentOps™ and CurrentCommand™ are purchasable self-serve monthly subscription plans. CurrentCore™ and VaultCore™ are included at every level.
CurrentStart™ — $0 CAD/month: CurrentCore™, VaultCore™, LeadFlow™, QuoteForge™, BillFlow™ and Bridge™; 1 user, 25 MB private storage, 3 active jobs, 20 customers and 25 BuildCurrent emails per month.
CurrentFlow™ — $49 CAD/month: the CurrentStart™ bundle plus TimeGrid™, CrewCurrent™, Cycle™ and Signal™; up to 3 users, 25 GB storage, 500 active jobs, 2,500 customers and 1,500 BuildCurrent emails per month.
CurrentOps™ — $99 CAD/month: the CurrentFlow™ bundle plus FieldCurrent™, Foundry™, Relay™ and Pulse™; up to 10 users, 100 GB storage, 2,500 active jobs, 10,000 customers and 7,500 BuildCurrent emails per month.
CurrentCommand™ — $179 CAD/month: the CurrentOps™ bundle plus LedgerCurrent™ and CurrentPay™; up to 25 users, 250 GB storage, 10,000 active jobs, 25,000 customers and 20,000 BuildCurrent emails per month.
Published usage limits are plan capacities and important quotas may be enforced server-side. Prices are in Canadian dollars unless stated otherwise. CurrentStart™ does not create a recurring software charge. Paid subscriptions renew automatically each billing period until cancelled.
Stripe processes paid subscription payments. BuildCurrent does not require customers to provide full card details directly to BuildCurrent. Existing paid subscriptions are not automatically repriced merely because BuildCurrent publishes a new price for new signups; any change to an existing customer price must occur through an applicable billing change, renewal arrangement or customer-approved plan change.
4. Self-serve setup and optional Guided Onboarding
Self-serve workspace setup is included at no onboarding charge. Guided Onboarding is always optional on paid plans and is currently priced at $149 CAD one-time for CurrentFlow™, $299 CAD one-time for CurrentOps™, and $499 CAD one-time for CurrentCommand™. CurrentStart™ is self-serve and has no Guided Onboarding charge.
If Guided Onboarding is purchased, the customer provides an availability date range, preferred daypart and timezone. That submission is an availability request, not a guaranteed appointment time. BuildCurrent confirms the actual appointment separately.
5. Current product scope
BuildCurrent is a contractor operations platform built from purpose-specific operating engines for CRM, estimating, field operations, scheduling, workforce, recurring service, accounting, billing, payments, synchronization, notifications, reporting, security, customer access, documents and media. Plan entitlements determine which engines and functions are available to a workspace.
Some functions depend on configuration, permissions or an external provider. QuickBooks connectivity is in controlled rollout and may be limited to supported or preview environments until BuildCurrent marks the integration generally available. AI-assisted features, where enabled, are support tools and may produce incomplete or incorrect output; users must review output before business use.
Features may be reorganized, improved, replaced or retired as the product evolves. A visible future or preview feature is not a promise that it is available to every customer or plan.
6. Payments and third-party services
BuildCurrent may integrate with Stripe, QuickBooks Online, Supabase, Vercel, Resend and optional AI or other service providers. Third-party services are governed by their own terms, permissions, eligibility and availability.
Contractors may connect their own Stripe account for supported customer payment workflows where enabled. Payment availability depends on the connected account being enabled and eligible. BuildCurrent records payment and reconciliation data needed for the business workflow but does not store raw payment-card numbers.
7. Customer data and acceptable use
The customer retains responsibility for business data and content submitted by its authorized users, including customer, employee, project, financial, image and document information. The customer must have lawful authority to collect, upload and use that information.
You may not use BuildCurrent to break the law, infringe rights, access another organization without authorization, distribute malware, interfere with security, defeat usage or permission controls, or intentionally misuse service infrastructure.
8. Security and access controls
BuildCurrent uses administrative, technical and organizational safeguards appropriate to the service, including company-scoped data access, role and permission controls, authentication controls and database row-level security. No online service can guarantee absolute security.
BuildCurrent may restrict or suspend access when reasonably necessary to address security threats, fraud, abuse, unlawful activity, serious non-payment on a paid plan or a material breach. Where practical, notice and an opportunity to resolve the issue will be provided.
Support access is read-only by default. When an authorized Customer representative specifically requests BuildCurrent to make a supported workspace change, an authorized platform operator may temporarily enable administrative control for that Customer workspace after verification. The support session may record the verified account member, the reason for the requested change, the platform operator, the control period and resulting actions. Temporary support control is time-limited, may be ended early, and is intended to use bounded product controls rather than unrestricted access. BuildCurrent may retain related audit records as reasonably necessary for security, accountability, fraud prevention and service administration.
9. Service availability and changes
The Provider will use commercially reasonable efforts to operate and maintain BuildCurrent. Temporary interruption may occur for maintenance, security work, provider outages or events outside reasonable control. No specific uptime or response-time service level applies unless separately agreed in writing.
BuildCurrent may release changes progressively and may use previews or controlled rollouts before general availability.
10. Cancellation, failed payment and refunds
CurrentStart™
CurrentStart™ has no recurring software charge. A CurrentStart™ customer may stop using the service at any time and may upgrade when additional engines or capacity are needed.
Paid-plan cancellation
You may cancel a paid subscription at any time through available self-service billing controls or by contacting BuildCurrent support. Cancellation normally takes effect at the end of the current paid billing period, and the next renewal is stopped. Access continues through the paid-through date unless the service is suspended for another lawful reason.
Failed payment
If a paid renewal fails, BuildCurrent may place the workspace in a payment-grace state while payment is retried or updated. The current operational grace period is seven days unless another period is communicated.
Refunds
Refund requests for paid charges are welcome. The Provider may approve full or partial refunds based on service issues, duplicate or mistaken charges, early cancellation or other reasonable circumstances. Guided Onboarding may be refunded separately from the software subscription. Mandatory legal rights are not limited by these Terms.
11. End of service and data access
When a workspace is closed, or after paid service ends, BuildCurrent may provide a read-only period so the customer can review and export available information. The current paid-service read-only period is 30 days. After an applicable retention period, workspace data may be scheduled for deletion subject to legal, accounting, fraud-prevention, audit and backup-retention requirements described in the Privacy Policy.
12. Intellectual property
BuildCurrent, its software, product design, documentation, claimed trademarks and platform content are owned by or licensed to the Provider. A valid free workspace or paid subscription grants a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable right to use the service for the customer's internal business operations while that workspace remains active and in compliance with these Terms.
This does not transfer ownership of the customer's business records or content to the Provider.
13. Disclaimers and limitation of liability
BuildCurrent is a business operations tool. It does not replace professional legal, accounting, tax, employment, payroll, engineering, construction-code or safety advice. The customer remains responsible for business decisions, statutory obligations and review of information entered into or produced by the service.
To the extent permitted by applicable law, neither party is liable for indirect, incidental, special, exemplary or consequential loss, or for lost profits, revenue, business opportunities, goodwill or data, arising from or related to the service where such loss was not reasonably foreseeable or is otherwise lawfully excludable.
To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, the Provider's aggregate liability arising out of or relating to BuildCurrent, whether in contract, tort, negligence or another legal theory, will not exceed the total subscription and onboarding fees actually paid by the affected Customer to the Provider for BuildCurrent during the 12 months immediately preceding the event giving rise to the claim. For a Customer using only a free plan during that period, the Provider's aggregate liability will not exceed CAD $100.
The liability cap does not apply to payment obligations owed by the Customer, fraud or wilful misconduct, infringement or misuse of the Provider's intellectual property, or any liability or statutory right that cannot lawfully be excluded or limited. Nothing in these Terms excludes or limits mandatory rights under applicable law.
14. Governing law and changes
These Terms are governed by the laws of New Brunswick and the applicable federal laws of Canada, subject to mandatory rights that apply.
The Provider may update these Terms as BuildCurrent changes. Material changes are identified by a new version and effective date and, where appropriate, communicated in the service or by email. Renewed acceptance will be requested where required.
