One operational history
Customer, estimate, job, crew, expense, invoice and payment data belong to the same story. BuildCurrent carries information forward instead of asking the business to rebuild the same context in multiple systems.
BuildCurrent is contractor operations software built by soucy.company in Fredericton, New Brunswick. The platform connects the records and workflows that run a contracting business—from the first customer inquiry through estimating, scheduling, field execution, accounting, invoicing, payment and ongoing customer service.
The thesis
A contracting business can touch CRM software, estimating tools, calendars, field apps, accounting software, payment systems, spreadsheets, email and text messages just to move one job from inquiry to paid. BuildCurrent is being built around the idea that those records should stay connected.
Customer, estimate, job, crew, expense, invoice and payment data belong to the same story. BuildCurrent carries information forward instead of asking the business to rebuild the same context in multiple systems.
BuildCurrent grew from the practical requirements of running contractor work. Product decisions are tested against real workflows: scheduling, job execution, customer communication, billing, permissions and day-to-day administration.
The commercial model is subscription software with permanent free entry and paid capacity tiers. As the platform matures, connected payment and financial workflows create additional strategic surface area without changing the core operating mission.
A solo operator can start with the same connected workflow a growing team uses. Higher tiers add users and operating capacity rather than forcing the customer into an entirely different product.
Connected workflow
The product is designed around continuity of information, not a collection of isolated feature screens.
What exists today
BuildCurrent is live and under active development. Current product areas include the core contractor workflow plus the operating layers needed to support it.
CRM, customer records, estimating, acceptance workflows and connected customer history.
Jobs, schedules, crews, tasks, daily activity, change orders, materials, files and project-level context.
Roles, permissions, time and attendance, time off, onboarding, meetings and team administration.
Expenses, recurring expenses, budgets, invoicing, payment state, receipts, refunds and accounting workflows.
A customer portal designed to show the customer their account context without exposing internal company operations.
Multi-company architecture, tenant isolation, role-based access, subscription tiers and external integration foundations.
BuildCurrent is being developed, tested, demonstrated and prepared for broader customer use. We would rather be precise about the stage of the company than manufacture traction or projections for a public page.
Valuation expectations, cap table information, detailed projections, private operating metrics, infrastructure costs and other diligence material are intentionally not published here.
Qualified investors and strategic partners can request a private discussion and appropriate supporting material.
Strategic fit
The strongest relationships could help BuildCurrent reach contractors, deepen the platform or improve the financial and operational infrastructure around the product.
If you invest in vertical software, construction technology, field-service operations, payments or the broader infrastructure economy—and BuildCurrent fits your thesis—we would like to hear from you.
